The Pumpkin Farm

October is here! And fall is in full effect. The trees have already turned beautiful shades of Red, yellow and orange. To start this new fall season right, our family headed outside for a trip to Goebbert's Farm! The children waited patiently in the car for us to arrive.

Once Zoey saw the farm, she yelled, "Great America!" Then she threw her hands up in the air like she was riding a roller coaster. She thinks every fun family trip is Great America right now. It's too cute.

Zoey was cautious when we first arrived.

She took a cart ride to soak in the place in while Henry picked out some squash.

E was .... well... he was a little confused at first.

Zoey saw the play train and that was enough to get her out of the cart and ready to play at the pumpkin farm!

While Zoey and I waited in line for pony rides, Henry took E out to pick his first pumpkin!

Zoey had so much fun. She said, "Fun pony rides! Pretty horse Mommy! Nice horse."

Once pony rides were over Zoey wanted more rides! So we hopped on the hay ride next.

Finally, it was time to pick the pumpkin.

E was so happy! He just smiled and smiled and melted my heart.

Zoey was getting pretty tired and ready for her nap. She still found time for photo ops with some of her favorite animated characters.

It was time to leave and daddy was a sucker for his little girl who wanted a choclate lollypop.

Yummy lollypop!

Later, at home, Zoey helped put out decorations. Shes enjoying all these Halloween festivities. I'm pretty sure shes looking forward to getting dressed up when trick-or-treating day comes.

She even wants her bath toys to have their costumes on.

  1. It's too funny that you say there were patient in car. E looks pretty Zen (he must get that from you), but it looks like Zoey was crying! :)

Also, dude... that boy looks soooooooo much like you! If he wasn't a boy, I'd call him mini-Jill!
