Smoothies

A word about smoothies... They are AWESOME! Seriously. If you think you can't make a smothie as tasty as Jamba Juice, you are WRONG! I love a yummy smoothie and i have one almost every single day. Most of my smoothies I drink in the morning. It's a better pick me up then Coffee by far. I feel so good, all morning long with ZERO crash in the early afternoon. If you are looking for a crack substitute... smoothies are your answer!

And the kids??? They LOVE EM! For an easy snack, Henry and I like to give Zoey Smoothie Chunks. We frreeze the smoothie then chop it into chunks. There is no mess and she has so much fun eating them.


We usually buy bags of frozen fruits like, blueberries, strawberries, peaches or mangos. To make my smoothies, I put one banana, and a bit of Soy milk or oj (like a splash) into a blender. I blend up the banana and then add one serving of two different frozen fruits to the blend. So I end up with three servings of fruit per smoothie.  I may do banana, strawberry, blueberry or Banana, mango peach... Like that. They are just as good as jamba as long as I get the texture right.

Okay... me sleepy. I go night night.
