Quality Time

What a warm and gorgeous day this was! The kids and I wanted to spend the entire day outside. We stared the day out with a dip in the pool...

and Ethan played in his saucer.

Then it was off to Pirates Cove! It was Zoey and Ethan's first time! Zoey enjoyed time in the boats.

She was very intrigued by the way the wheels spun around.

There was a train we road together many times. Even Ethan got to ride! You can't see him in the photos because he was strapped to my chest in his Moby.

Zoey played at the park for a bit. But it was so hot out that most of the plastic was too hot to play on.

After some seriously needed naps, the three of us got packed up to head out to the Algonquin Founders Days Fest.  "E" was in a really good mood as per usual.

At the fest, we enjoyed time with Mrs. and Mr. Foster and Carrie and Bill Nielson. Carol Foster shared her water with little "E"

And Zoey was lucky that The Fosters also bought her a hot dog and fries. So while zoey ate her fries, Ethan ate Mrs. Fosters purse.

We spent a short while watching bands play. The kiddos didn't seem to enjoy the loud music all that much.

We had a long hot walk back to the car. It was over an hour of walking in the 95 degree heat. We LOVED IT! It always feels good to be moving around, visiting important people in our lives and enjoying the time we have together. But I'll tell ya, we sure were tired after all that fun.
