I have a lovely & temporary addition to my desk at work. As it is the first day of spring, my boss brought my co-worker and I each a flower in a cute little vase (These our some the "fringe" benefits I get working at trace Services). It adds a much enjoyed spring feeling to my environment and I love it!
95% of the food we eat is prepared by Henry. And today he made some of my favorites! There was the Chicken Baked in Parchment and for desert, Raspberry Cookie Crumble Crisp. (Yumm!) Henry just wings a lot of the stuff he makes and it ALWAYS turns out awesome! When I try to wing a dinner it's never a good thing. So, I do my best to keep my creativity out of the kitchen.
But before that, this morning, as I was getting ready for work, I looked down at Ethan lying on my and my Henry's bed and thought, "My goodness! This boy is getting so big." Five minutes later, after being put down on his belly, he plopped onto his back . He's so strong and has been practicing his baby push-ups everyday. I think he'll crawl much earlier then Zoey did.
Speaking of Zoey, she's been singing. Sometimes, when I sing to her, she'll chime in and start to sing too. She likes to sing the Backyardagins theme song, the ABC's and Head Shoulders Knees and Toes. She doesn't have the words down yet (except for the words Head and shoulders) but she's doing well enough that I can make out the songs she sings. She's got these little arm movements she makes too. And sometimes she spins around in little circles. I applaud her when shes finished and she smiles really big. How can things like that NOT make me so happy to be alive?! ; -D Oh! And two weeks ago, Zoey said her first sentence. She said, "I love Mamma." My heart melted. Really.
